Happy Hour: Mistletoe Martini

Little known fact about me: I LOVE creating cocktails. It all started when my mom would come home with some sort of flavored liquor or juice and my assignment was to create a delicious drink out of it. Then I started buying cocktail shakers and fancy glasses and the rest is history!

Happy Hour: Mistletoe Martini

Since I'm home for the holidays, I obviously had to make a holiday themed cocktail. The main ingredient I had to work around? Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite. Oh, you've never heard of it either? I swear, my mom finds the absolute weirdest things when she grocery shops. Nonetheless, this Sprite is actually damn delicious. To accompany the soda, she also bought cranberry apple juice and then told me to "work my magic."
My mom is a huge fan of St. Germain (if you haven't tried you NEED to -- it's a game changer in the cocktail game) so I knew I'd be incorporating that. I figured I needed to keep it simple, and what's more simple than a martini? So, without further adieu, I bring you the Mistletoe Martini!

It's simple, delicious, AND festive! What more do you need? You can even make it even cuter by sugaring the rim with red and green sprinkles (god dammit, why didn't I think of this before I took pictures?!). Here's the breakdown of the recipe:

Mistletoe Martini
1 oz Vodka
1 oz St. Germain Liqueur
2 oz Cranberry Apple Juice
1 oz Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite

In a cocktail share, add ice, vodka, St. Germain, and juice. Shake well. Pour into glass halfway and top with Sprite. VoilĂ !

Let me know if you try this cocktail in the comments below! Cheers, love!
